Meadville Community Theatre and French Creek Community Theatre are excited to share the newly renovated Penny Smith Theater at Cussewago Square—a new home for local performing arts and a space where our community can come together.
We are making one final call for donors to become one of the theater’s inaugural “Friends of the Penny” as we have reached nearly two-thirds of our $300,000 fundraising goal. Your donation will help us transform this space into a fully functioning theater with seating, lighting, sound, staging, acoustics, and more.
As a founding supporter, your name will be permanently displayed on a “Friends of the Penny” plaque in the theater, and an invite to our October 22nd Donor Appreciation Event recognizing those who helped make this exciting new chapter possible, including a behind the scenes look at this new space and featuring a “Taste of the Square” by Dominico’s Restaurant and Cup n’ Spoon.
