Founded in 1967, Meadville Community Theatre is the oldest continually running community theater in Meadville. During a significant portion of that time, MCT was the only community organization dedicated solely to keeping local theater alive. After presenting classic and contemporary works out of various venues, MCT found a home in the Odd Fellows Building on North Main Street in our 1983-1984 season. MCT enjoys expanding its audiences’ appreciation of the performing arts by bringing new and inventive projects to the stage.
Mission Statement
Meadville Community Theatre fosters active community theater and offers education, training, and opportunity for dramatic expression to all members of the community.
