Meet the Cast of “The Wonderland Project”

Tomorrow the “curtain” goes up on our final show of the season, and the final show in our Odd Fellows home. Here are the incredible youth who created and are acting in this show.

Aralyn Bacon is pleased to be playing her first big lead as Alice in The Wonderland Project! She is 13 years old and attends Conneaut Area Middle School. Aralyn has previously been in shows such as The Mad Tea Party, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Anastasia, Frozen Junior, Oliver, and Bit of Broadway 2022, 2023, and 2024. Out of theater, she does cheerleading and dance. She hopes you enjoy the show and you don’t have the bread knife in the butter to ruin your watch.

Evaleigh McClymonds is a recent graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School. In the fall she will be attending Duquesne University to major in Sociology. She has done theater ever since she was 4 and this will be her 34th show!! You may have seen her in past MCT Shows like Peter Pan, The Wind in the Willows, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Anne of Green Gables. She would like to thank her friends and family who have always supported her love of theater. She is super excited that she got to embrace the character of Lewis Carroll and hopes you enjoy the show.

Connel Stout. 14, is looking forward to being on the MCT stage as the Jaberwok puppeteer. The previous shows he’s been a part of include Light In Odd Spaces, A Midsummer Nights Dream, multiple cranky performances, and The Nutcracker. In his free time, he likes to play video games with friends, needle-felt, and play the piano.

Emmett Andrae, 13, is grateful for the opportunity to help produce The Wonderland Project and plays the part of the White Rabbit. Emmett’s previous MCT shows include The Wind in the Willows and The Boxcar Children. He recently performed in the ensemble for the MASH production of The Drowsy Chaperone. Emmett also enjoys fishing, skiing, and playing soccer.

Leah Hyatt, 14, is portraying the Cheshire Cat in this MCT production. She’s been in various shows in Meadville since she was 6. She helped to devise and write The Wonderland Project and is excited to act in it.

Morgan Sleet, 14, is a student at USP PALCS and a member of Oil Region Ballet. She’s looking forward to being part of more MCT productions. Her past shows include The Boxcar Children, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, and others. Along with acting and dancing, Morgan enjoys improv and the creativity it brings. When she’s not on stage or in the studio, she likes writing horror stories, making art, and hanging out with her dogs.

Sophie Smith. 13, is thrilled to join the MCT stage for her first show with them as the March Hare. Her previous shows done at other theaters include, The Lightning Thief, Newsies, Tarzan, The Little Mermaid, and Grease. When she’s not on stage, she enjoys playing sports, painting, and baking.

Lydia Green is proud to be a part of the last production at the Odd Fellows building as the Mad Hatter. This is her third MCT production, following The Wind in the Willows and The Boxcar Children. Her other previous shows include Bah Humbug, The Wizard of Oz, Honk, and more. She’s a member of the MASH Marching Band and the Meadville Figure Skating Club, and you can find her nose in a book during her free time.

Lennon Andrae, 11, is very excited to be a part of this performance and will be portraying the Door Mouse and John. Lennon’s previous MCT shows include The Wind in the Willows and The Boxcar Children. Lennon also played an orphan in the musical Oliver at the Academy Theatre. Lennon’s other hobbies are tumbling, soccer, and hanging out with her friends.

Ashlyn Kapis. 12, ecstatic to join the MCT stage as the Lion. Her previous shows include The Little Mermaid and The Ransom of Ms. Elverna Dower. When she isn’t on stage she enjoys cheer, drawing, and doing makeup.

Mazzy Smith (12) is excited to be in her first MCT production. Mazzy is no stranger to the stage. Her feature plays include Oliver! (Oliver), Anastasia (Ensemble), Frozen Jr (ensemble), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Oompa Loompa). She has also been featured as a soloist in 3 Bit of Broadway Jr shows. She wants to be a Marine Biologist and work with sharks when she grows up. When she is not performing or dreaming of sharks, she loves hanging out with her friends, having sleepovers, mountain biking and playing with her dogs and kitty.

Khloe Russell is 10 years old. She very excited to be in her first production at MCT. She started theater in the Academy Theatre’s Bit of Broadway jr. in 2022. She has been in Oliver, Frozen jr., Fiddler the Roof, along with Bit of Broadway jr. the last three Summers. Most recently she was an Oompa Loompa in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Khloe would like to thank Dan and Jill for the opportunity to be in this show. Also a thank you to all her of her new friends and cast mates for being so friendly and so great to work with.

Rosalynd Phillips, 17, returns to theater for the first time in over a year as the Turtle. A jack of all trades in the creative world, Rosalynd not only enjoys acting, but also writing, art, and music. Other shows Rosalynd has been in include The Boxcar Children at MCT (2024), as well as It All Ends In Fire (2022) and The Little Mermaid (2023) at FCCT.

Connor Prall, 11, is an avid theater lover. He has done many shows with the French Creek Community Theatre including his roles as Young Simba in The Lion King Jr. and Michael Banks in Mary Poppins. He also performed in A Bit of Broadway Jr at the Academy Theatre. His role as the King will mark his first production with MCT. He is excited and proud to take part in the final performance at the Odd Fellows Building.

Emily Himmler,14, is delighted to appear in her first production with MCT as the Queen. She’s previously been cast in the shows, with various theaters and studios, Frozen Jr., Anastasia, Bit of Broadway Jr. 2024, Madagascar Jr., Suessical Jr., The Nutcracker, The little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Emily will soon be a 9th student at Meadville Area Senior High and is currently dancing with Allegro Dance Arts.

Matthew Esmond. 12, is happy to do his first play with the MCT, following his performance in Vita Fabulas, a storytelling program. He also was a part of Wizard of Oz, and Frozen Jr. with the French Creek Community Theatre. In the meantime he plays sports such as football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and soccer.

Allison Huselton is 14 and has enjoyed being apart of the Wonderland Project. She plays the parts of a student named Ezra, a caterpillar foot, and card number seven. Her previous theater experiences include Lion King Jr. and Frozen Jr. In her free time, she enjoys taking dance classes, playing her guitar, and shooting archery.

Bailey Medvec, 11, this is Bailey’s first youth production with MCT. He was seen on stage earlier this year in The Man Who Came to Dinner. When Bailey isn’t on stage he loves to be creative in many artist ways, like creating and building fun play areas for his many small pets. Bailey also enjoys racing RC cars at Big Dog RC. In addition, Bailey has a purple belt in Taekwondo.
