Meet the Cast of “Pick Your Poison”

Jessie Rhoades (Alice Jennings) is excited to be making her MCT debut as Alice in “Pick Your Poison.” She was most recently seen in “The Pizza Bomber Play: A Devoted Surrender” as Young Marjorie. Other recent roles include Delphi in “Weird Romance” at PACA and Maid Marian in “A Canterbury Feast: The Merry Men of Sherwood” at the Station Dinner Theatre. Other favorite roles include Susan/Karessa in “tick, tick…BOOM” (Erie Playhouse), Gloria in “Boeing Boeing” (Erie Playhouse), and Janet in “The Rocky Horror Show” (PACA). Thank you to Abby for this opportunity!

Kaleigh White (Fifi Francois) is excited to be back on stage at MCT. She first worked with MCT in 2016, and more recently appeared in “Amare” and “5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche.” She graduated from Allegheny College in 2022 with a BA in theater and marketing informatics. She worked in her college’s costume shop for four years, working on shows such as “Urinetown,” “In the Next Room,” and “She Kills Monsters.” After graduation, she worked a few different professional costuming jobs before finding herself back home in Crawford County. She loves all things costumes and is also a makeup artist and avid hooker – that is, she crochets. She is also a freelance reporter for The Community News. If you’re feeling bored, you can see her portfolio website at www.kaleighjwhite.com.

William Marceau IV (Lord Earnest Crawford) is very excited to be in his first show with MCT. He has spent the last 3 years doing shows with FCCT, with his most recent role being Danny in “Grease.” He is a senior at CSHS and is also taking classes at Gannon University. His favorite subject is history, and he participates in wrestling, cross country, and track. Will is also active with his church, St. Agatha’s, helping to serve Mass, going on mission trips, and participating in the youth group. He hopes to go to a local college next year to study child psychology to continue helping others. He wants to thank God and his family for supporting him, FCCT for helping to develop his love of theater, and Abby and MCT for the amazing opportunity to participate in this production.

Aaron Stine (Dr. Merlin Hayes) is excited to once again be on stage with Meadville Community Theatre. Aaron recently starred in MCT’s production of William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” as the villain, Don John. Other recent shows with MCT include “An Evening with Carol Burnett and Friends” and “Small Jokes About Monsters.” Aaron is excited for the opportunity to work with his daughter, Abby, in her directorial debut.

Kelly Perrett (Octavia Osborne) is pleased to return to the Meadville Community Theatre for “Pick Your Poison.” Kelly started acting in high school with shows like “Godspell” and “The King and I” and has over 30 years experience with writing, acting and directing for various church theater programs. Kelly has performed at the Academy Theatre in “Legally Blonde” and most recently, “The Producers,” and at MCT in “Pride & Prejudice,” “It’s a Wonderful Life,” and “Carol Burnett and Friends.” Kelly loves a good “who dunnit” and this one does not disappoint!

V Sheehan-Kohler (Clayton Asbury) looks forward to their MCT debut. They’ve been away from the stage since high school, where they took theater arts classes and joined in the high school play each year. Nowadays, V spends their free time on an array of artistic endeavors, including painting, writing poetry, singing, and candle making. They give many thanks to their friends, family, and castmates for supporting them throughout this theatrical journey.

John Amy (Sir Nicholas Blackburn) This is John’s first show with Meadville Community Theatre and of course it would be centered around murder. While this is his debut with this group, he does have a decade worth of experience with other groups, such as French Creek Community Theatre, and the Barrow Civic Theater, where he played roles such as Ebenezer Scrooge from “Bah, Humbug,” Le Fou from “Beauty and the Beast,” and Mr. D from “The Lightning Thief.” He hopes he survives the night, and that you enjoy the show.

Geoff Hall (Hector) has been doing theater for more than 30 years; my God has it actually been that long? Favorite acting roles include Stanley in “A Streetcar Named Desire,” Banjo in “The Man Who Came to Dinner,” and Randall McMurphy in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” When not acting, Geoff is directing. He recently directed “A Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” this past season as well as co-directing multiple youth shows, including the upcoming show “Shivers” – which he also wrote. He hopes you will enjoy the show, have a wonderful time, and that you’ll continue to come out and support MCT.

Connor Prall (Stagehand) 11, is an avid theater lover. In addition to being selected for the PMEA Elementary Chorus Fest, you may have seen him in one of the other four plays (with three different theater companies!) he’s been in since April. Connor has most recently performed with the FCCT in “Newsies” (Darcy) and “Moana Jr.” (Tamatoa), the Academy Theatre in “Alice in Wonderland Jr.” (Four of Spades), and he took part in the MCT’s final show at the Oddfellows Building, “The Wonderland Project” (The King). Other roles include Young Simba (“The Lion King Jr.”) and Michael Banks (“Mary Poppins”). Keep your eyes peeled and you just might see him in the horror film Pig Hill as Young Ben. In his (limited) free time, Connor plays the violin and guitar, hangs out with his friends, and spends time at the library.
