As we reach the 2nd half of our inaugural season in the Penny Smith Theater, we welcome you to propose your ideas for next season!
Submissions for the 2026-2027 theatrical season are now open.
If you have an idea for a show that you would like to direct, or even one that you think would be great for someone else to direct…THIS is your moment!
Applications are due February 28, 2026. Please fill out the .pdf fillable form here and email it to production@mctbackstage.com. The more complete a form is, the better; however if you are not sure of an answer, or need help that’s ok too! We’re always happy to answer questions and to get new people involved!
If you have not directed before, our policy is to pair you with a seasoned director to get skills built and have everyone on the same playing field. If you would like to get started in directing please reach out to ask about assistant directing in the upcoming season!
