Located in Northwestern Pennsylvania, Meadville Community Theatre is a small town, non-profit organization that is run by community members for the enjoyment of the entire community. Currently in its 51st season, Meadville Community Theatre is the oldest all volunteer community theater in Crawford County. The purpose of MCT is to foster active community theater, and to offer education, training, and opportunity for dramatic expression to all members of the community. And, of course, visitors from outside the community are ALWAYS welcome to come join the fun and watch a show.
Since 1967, MCT shows have graced many spaces in Meadville. In 1984 we found our current space and haven’t looked back. Our theater provides the opportunity to get as close to the action as you like; be an observer, or totally immerse yourself in the experience. Be it comedy, drama, or a musical, you can find your home at MCT. There isn’t a bad seat in the house.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is elected by the membership at an annual meeting every May. Board members volunteer their time freely in order to see MCT succeed and to continue to provide excellent theatrical opportunities to the community. Each chair serves a two year term, while the Vice-President serves one year before transitioning into President and then Past President. Anybody who has an interest in serving on the Board of Directors is encouraged to send a letter of interest to email@example.com or Meadville Community Theatre, PO Box 330, Meadville, PA 16335.
