Don’t miss this delightfully amusing show directed by Dan Authier and Debbie Ormston! Jon, an out of work musician, has been cheating the IRS for years by claiming his androgynously named male roommate, Leslie, as his wife. Leslie has been cheating too, but only with Jon's fiance', Kate. When an IRS auditor decides to pay the happy couple a home visit, mayhem breaks loose as Leslie pretends to be Jon's wife. Kate tries to break off her engagement from Jon, and the pesky landlord and a few other surprise visitors arrive at the same time. This farce is sure to tax your funny bone as Jon and Leslie try to outwit Love, Sex, and the IRS. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Curious Savage has enjoyed a terrific run! Opening weekend on February 15 saw wonderful crowds, and full houses continued as they enjoyed MCT favorites Emmy Boughton, Sue Black, Mitch Micosky, Phil Shafer, Carol Tamburrino, Jim Hollerman and Debbie Ormston. Some ‘new’ faces have also joined us this time around -- Brian Pulito, Heather and Dave Neal, and Nerissa Tiffany. The Pop Kear award went to a well deserving Sue Black, and the Bob Beck award went to the illuminating Sarah Spencer   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MCT Discount Cards for 2008 will soon be available Meadville Community Theatre will be selling "Discount Cards" that offer various discounts at 18 different local businesses. The cards cost $10.00 each and are good from now until 12/31/08. The discounts available far exceeds the $10.00 cost of the card. The "Discount Cards" can be purchased at the MCT Box Office during any performance or from any MCT Board Member.
